Kari Jones is the President & CEO of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO). Since joining the DSACO team in 2014, she serves in providing strategic direction, development, and ensuring families’ needs are satisfied. Kari has led DSACO to develop new statewide educational programs, Learning Aid Ohio and Adult Literacy Ohio, that have served thousands of children and adults with developmental disabilities throughout Ohio. Her primary focus is to elevate the voices of Ohioans with developmental disabilities and their families to ensure they have a lifetime of opportunities available to them.
In 2023, Kari was honored as a Woman of Influence by Columbus Business First. She also serves as the Public Policy Chair on the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council. Kari has been connected to DSACO in some capacity since 1985, when her brother Alex was born with Down syndrome.
