DSACO wants to help you find comfort while your loved one with Down syndrome has a stay at any hospital in our 23-county service area.
We launched our Hospital Care Package Program in 2015, in collaboration with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, with great success. We’re ready to bring this opportunity to other hospitals throughout our service area! Packages can be delivered to any hospital in our 23-county service area for families whose loved one with Down syndrome is having a stay longer than 2 nights. This opportunity is available for any family (regardless of where they reside) as long as the hospital is within our service area.

Hospital Care Packages are provided in a Thirty-One Tote Bag, include information about DSACO (including our most up-to-date newsletter), and the following items:
- Soft Throw Blanket
- Tissues (the soft ones!)
- Cozy Socks
- Toiletry Kit
- Deck of Playing Cards
- Crosswords & Puzzle Books
- Gift card to a surrounding restaurant that we know delivers to the hospital you are currently staying at
- Gift card to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Cafeteria (only included if you are staying at NCH)
