Ds Awareness Month Story- Logan

When our daughter, Logan, was born 3 1/2 years ago I feared for what life would be for her. Would she walk, talk, feed herself? Would she ever have any friends? To answer that, she does and has all of these things. Logan started preschool in February and she has made many friends. She is included in all school activities and treated just like everyone else in her school. Her personality has really blossomed since starting preschool. With all the support from her teachers and peers I believe she can do and be anything she wants to be and sometimes I wonder why the days following her birth were wasted by me worrying in the first place.
