On behalf of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO), we’d like to extend a special invitation for you and your family to be a part of our New Family Welcome Ceremony at this year’s Columbus Buddy Walk® held on Sunday, October 3rd, at Fortress Obetz. The mission of the Columbus Buddy Walk® is to kick off Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. We would love for you to join us so that we can personally recognize you, along with other new families, during our New Family Welcome Ceremony and introduce you to the rest of the DSACO family! The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the main stage, located outside the main gate. It is always a highlight for many so we hope you will join us!
You do not have to register in order to participate in the New Family Welcome Ceremony, however anyone who would like a Columbus Buddy Walk® t-shirt does need to be registered to receive one (register by September 3rd to guarantee shirt size).
