Courtney Frost is DSACO’s Program Coordinator of New Parent Services and is tasked with offering social & emotional support, as well as, the most up-to date resources to new parents receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis. Courtney also oversees the First Connect parent mentor program, including training and equipping parent mentors to support families throughout the first year.
Courtney is a licensed counselor through the state of Ohio with a Master’s degree in counseling. She has previous experience working as a counselor with individuals, families and children. Courtney has volunteered with DSACO for many years in various roles, but most recently as a parent mentor herself and as the leader of the Southeast M.O.M.S. group.
She is a fierce advocate for, not only the Down syndrome community, but also for her son Christian. Courtney has been involved with DSACO in many ways since her son was about 8 months old, and she is looking forward to using her professional experience, along with her personal experience raising a child with Down syndrome, to serve our new families.
Courtney lives in Pickerington with her husband Brad, and their four children Peyton, Hayley, Lexi and Christian (who has Down syndrome). They enjoy being active outside and taking trips to Disney! Courtney enjoys running outside, spending time with friends and family, and DIY projects.
