The DSACO Dancing with Our Stars Gala is more than just an evening of fine dining and dancing; it’s a heartfelt celebration that showcases the essence of our mission.
The highlight of this special event is a professionally choreographed ballroom dancing performance featuring over 50 adults with Down syndrome. These remarkable individuals have dedicated countless hours to perfect their skills, and now they’re ready to dazzle you with their live performances!
2025 DSACO Impact Award Recipient: Robert J. Woodward, Jr.
We are honored to present Robert (Bob) J. Woodward, Jr. with the 2025 DSACO Impact Award for his extraordinary commitment to the developmental disability community in Central Ohio. As the Founder of the GLOW Foundation, Bob has been a passionate advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities for nearly two decades.
Inspired by his late brother Glenn, Bob has made remarkable contributions to the community. His philanthropic efforts have significantly advanced support services, including specialized dental care at Ohio State University’s Nisonger Clinic, innovative community resources like Lifetown’s “Glenn’s Pet Store”, and critical sibling support through Ohio SIBS.
Through the GLOW Foundation, Bob has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to creating inclusive opportunities. His work exemplifies the power of family advocacy and community support, providing resources and hope for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.Bob Woodward’s commitment goes beyond financial support – he has created meaningful pathways for connection, understanding, and empowerment. His legacy honors his brother Glenn and continues to make a profound difference in the lives of countless individuals and families in Central Ohio.
