Big Ten Down Syndrome Association Challenge
Join DSACO in the Big Ten Down Syndrome Association Challenge!
With the Big Ten season of football postponed, what better way to spend you week than competing in the Big Ten DSA Challenge?
What:
Each week DSACO will be “challenging” another Down Syndrome Association (DSA) to a walking/running competition. The challenge will be to see which organization can average the most miles throughout the week.
Who:
This challenge is open to ALL AGES and ALL FAMILY MEMBERS. Our only requirement is that your family member with Down syndrome must be involved / participating for the miles to “count” towards the DSACO team’s totals.
How does it work?
Once you register through the link below, you will receive additional information on how to set up your account in Run Keeper, the app we’ll be using to track your mileage for the challenge.
Each participant will be added to a private Facebook page where we will share how the competition is doing, weekly challenges, and posts of weekly rewards and incentives!

- October 5-12: Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota – University of Minnesota
- October 12-19: Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands and Down Syndrome Association for Families – University of Nebraska – Lincoln
- October 19-25: Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan – Michigan State
- October 26 – November 1: Down Syndrome Indiana – Indiana University
- November 2-8: Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County – University of Maryland
- November 9-15: Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville – University of North Florida
- November 16-22: Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte – Charlotte 49ers
- November 23-29: Down Syndrome Guild of Southeast Michigan – University of Michigan
