Thank you to everyone who attended and/or donated to DSACO at the Dancing with Our Stars Gala.
On Saturday, February 4th nearly 500 guests attended the Dancing with Our Stars Gala, presented by Kroger, at Villa Milano Banquet & Conference Center. Guests experienced complimentary valet parking, courtesy of Creative Options, a delicious dinner, and had the opportunity to learn new dance steps during the dance instruction, lead by Michael Neyer of Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Columbus. The event featured a Wine Pull, Gift Card Grab and Silent Auction, along with a photobooth, sponsored by Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center.
DSACO honored Director John Martin of the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities with a short video presentation (see below). In addition, 32 incredible adults with Down syndrome performed the Merengue and Waltz for the viewing pleasure of all guests. The program ended with a powerful story shared by new parents, Jenny and James Gatchell — followed by an epic dance party that completed the night.
